Do Business in the Field
iRealty understands the most efficient use of your time is not driving to and from the office, but in meeting your clients where it is most convenient for them and yourself. Our systems allow you to do everything you used to do in the office, On The Go. We don't want to fence you in, we want to set you free!
Freedom
This refers to your freedom of many things. It refers to your physical freedom to do your business from where you are. It also refers to your freedom to choose the path of your own business. You are not an employee, and you are not treated as such. You are a business entity, and are given the respect of a fellow business owner.
Our Freedom oriented culture also means you are not just free to work where and how you want, but also when you want. You choose your days off, your weekends, your vacations. Set your schedule around your yoga class, or take Wednesday afternoons to have lunch with your Mom. Freedom in both your work and your life is part of our mission at iRealty.
Equality
There are no favourites, alpha-males or prima-donnas in our organization. We have a flat hierarchy that includes the administration staff, the Broker and every Associate. No one receives "deals" on their bills and everyone's opinions are valid. The idea of the brand new agent is equally significant as the 20 year veteran's. Everyone has equal capability to create and publish articles , thoughts and ideas on our Igloo communication platform.

Training
RE/MAX has the unjustified reputation of wanting only experienced agents. Though many years ago this was true, in the past decade RE/MAX has become the front runner, by far, in training and agent education. RE/MAX is the only company that has it's own Satellite TV station, with 40 hours of original programming each week. Even superior to that, is the "Agent Training on Demand." (ATOD) ATOD has available 100's of training, coaching, and instructive videos on the RE/MAX Intranet system (called Main Street) for agents to access 24/7.
In addition to the RE/MAX training, iRealty is a training oriented office. We recognize that the real estate industry is populated predominately by an ageing generation, heading quickly into retirement. iRealty believes success lies in a new and often, younger population of recruits to the industry. We train and coach from scratch those who are brand new to the industry, as well as continuing to work with those more experienced if they desire it, through ongoing coaching and business planning.
Green Standards
We offer our Associates a Brokerage they can be proud to be part of. iRealty is paperless to large extent. We have our files, office communications, manuals and training digital whenever possible. This saves approximately 1000 lbs of paper each year. When paper is received, we recycle it, as well as any other materials we can. We utilize a digital document program to process and store our transaction files, so agents do not have to drive unnecessarily to deliver documents to either the office or their clients. This can all be done digitally, utilizing less gas and creating less pollution in the crisp clean air of our city. We like keeping it that way!
Paperless
Being paperless is a keystone to the iRealty concept. Real Estate as an industry has not yet embraced the digital world of business, which is a shame, because traditional real estate uses and extraordinary amount of paper! RE/MAX Alpine (iRealty) is excited to lead the way in paperless revolution in real estate. Our systems allows for far more efficiency for our clients, our agents, our administration, and not to mention exponentially increased security for our documents and our clients privacy.

E-signature Compatible
iRealty is an e-signature compatible office. At iRealty, e-signatures are the perfect complement to our office's paperless technology. The e-signature software operates on a tablet computer, and is user friendly for both the agent and the client. By utilizing this software, your contracts can be easily drafted, signed, negotiated, accepted and submitted to the Brokerage, without a single piece of paper utilized.
E-signatures are not required at iRealty. It is a business method our agents may chose to utilize, that is supported, and recognized by our Brokerage as the future in real estate transactions.
Online Transactions
On-line document and file submission - Some agents have adopted various methods of on-line document and file submission already. Some fax in their paperwork, others email and some even courier documents to their Brokerage.
Our online submission allows the convenience of paperless submission, along with tremendous added features.
- Documents submitted and stored on our system are considered "Originals" Paper copies are not required.
- Digital Paper trail-By submitting to our system online, you have an instant digital paper trail, showing the exact time and date of the submission. (digital paper trails are extremely useful for protection in litigation)
- You can immediately view your uploaded files, to ensure all documents have been included.
- The program will notify you of missing documents that are still required to be submitted.
- Dates of deposits and notices due are highlighted for easy notice.
On-line document storage
- Security of storage. No lost files, misplaced documents, coffee spills on originals.
- Documents are safe and won't be destroyed in fire, floods, or from sprinkler activation
- Documents and it's content are safe from identity thieves and petty criminals.
- No loose papers in brief case, home offices, brokerage desk or your car.
On-line document retrieval for associates and clients
- Can access complete files. No searching for documents, photocopies, etc.
- All info in one place, all the time.
- Upload once without duplication for your own 2nd file.
- Clients have access immediately to any documents you allow them.
- Documents available 24/7 to you, your administration and your clients.
- Can be viewed, emailed, faxed or printed at any time.
- Have a digital paper trail, creating proof you delivered a true copy of documents at the time of signing. (Difficult to do with the non-carbon copy paper mostly used these days.)
iCOMMUNITY
"We" is better than "Me." Communication between all members of iRealty is an essential aspect of the "Go" Office Concept. Communication through this program is constantly in progress, with many people conversing, exchanging and sharing on an hourly basis. There are several features of our system:
- Wiki - We believe that "We, is Better than Me." With all of our colleagues sharing information in real time, we are by far the most informed Agents working in the Calgary area. This information sharing platform allows everyone to be notified immediately of all new information your colleagues are aware of.
- Benefits: Unlike email, the information is not sent to you, demanding your time and clogging up your inbox. You choose to view new submissions that are relevant to you. Also unlike email, all information provided is inserted into a searchable database for easy reference by key words at any later date.
- All colleagues of iRealty have the authority to write and publish information for others to utilize. This information is added to our permanent enclyopedia of information, which can be found at a later date by searching with key words found in the title or article.
- Any associate may edit anyone else's article for more accuracy. All publishers and editors identities are posted on any submission, so follow up questions or communications can be initiated.
Communication from Brokerage
Being On The Go, you may see your colleagues and Broker less often. However, at iRealty, you will never suffer from isolation. You will find you are more connected than ever before! Your Brokerage and your colleagues will ensure you have constant communication, so you are up-to-date on all relevant information. Through Video Updates from your Broker, feedback from administration on your files, an Associate's helpful explanation of a new legislation, or just photos of your colleagues get-together last weekend, you will always be in the know and connected.
Minimum Space
One of the largest expenses of a traditional real estate Brokerage is the extensive and very costly physical office space. This burdensome and unnecessary cost of this space is directly passed on to the agents. By eliminating as much of this needless square footage as possible, we are freeing up funds to invest in software, technology and systems that allow you to do business in the field, where your clients are.

Technology for the sake of technology is not our goal. We strive to improve and streamline systems that continually increase your business's efficiency and profitability. New technology and services tend to lead the way in many of these changes.
Office Space, Tools & Equipment
Though we are a "Go" office, we have a home base for our Brokerage. Our compact space is located in the Devonish building on 17th Ave in the Beltline. We are equipped with drop-in work stations for colleagues desiring to work from the office, high speed scanner and copier, as well as our conference room for client meetings. There is plenty of parking near by for both the agents and clients convenience.
This office is not staffed, as our conveyaning and administration works from our sister office in Canmore. For further effecieny, we share our support staff and their wages expense, with our sister office RE/MAX Alpine Realty. (Canmore)
